What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
That’s completely normal. We keep things relaxed and conversational so you can settle in. My job is to create an environment where you feel comfortable and look your best.
Can I see the images during the session?
Yes! We’ll review images as we go to ensure you’re happy with the direction and make any adjustments if needed.
How do I know which expression or look is best?
I’ll coach you based on your goals (corporate, creative, personal branding, etc.) and help you create a range of expressions so you have options that fit different platforms.
What should I wear to my headshot session?
Solid, neutral or rich tones photograph best. Avoid busy patterns and large logos. Choose outfits that reflect your industry and how you want to be perceived. When in doubt, bring options and we’ll decide together.
Should I get professional hair and makeup?
It’s not required, but it’s highly recommended. Camera-ready makeup and polished hair elevate your final images and help you feel confident.
I’m not photogenic — will you guide me?
Absolutely. Most of my clients say this before their session. I’ll guide you through natural posing, expressions, and subtle adjustments so you look confident and approachable.
How do I select my final images?
You’ll receive a gallery where you can choose your favorites at your own pace. I’m happy to offer input if you’d like help narrowing them down.
What level of retouching is included?
Every selected image includes professional, natural retouching — skin refinements, color correction, and subtle enhancements while still looking like you.
Where can I use my headshots?
Your images are perfect for LinkedIn, company websites, marketing materials, social media, speaking engagements, and press features.
